"My wife and I set out to build a new energy efficient house. We needed to find lot and we also wanted to leverage our current house towards the construction cost. This is when Pia Crum came into the picture. Our builder recommended we work with her to find a lot, and it turned out that Pia helped every single aspect of our project., , She found a nice 6-acre lot and negotiated special terms with the seller. She also got us in touch with the right banker for our mortgage. When the appraisal for our current house came out low, she insisted to meet the second appraiser. The result was an additional 50K! The architectural committee of the lot we bought was really hard to deal with: unresponsive, not reliable and very picky. Pia followed-up relentlessly until we got all the authorization we needed. She was very organized and very helpful in all interactions from start to finish. We were also dealing with opposite shift scheduling, living in another city and new school district requirements.
